Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 September 2026
1. Purpose
Sod is a mobile app for training digital vigilance. It runs simulated attacks (messages, e-mails, web pages, calls) inside a closed environment, for educational purposes.
These terms govern the use of the app and its services. Creating an account means accepting them.
2. Publisher
The app is published by [TO BE COMPLETED: legal name], [TO BE COMPLETED: legal form, registration number], registered at [TO BE COMPLETED: address].
Contact: nathanesebban18@gmail.com Publication director: [TO BE COMPLETED]
Hosting: IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany.
3. Access
The app is free. It requires an account (e-mail address, first name or nickname, password) and an internet connection to sync; the daily threat stays playable offline once downloaded.
Users must be at least 13 years old. Under 15, the consent of a parent or legal guardian is required.
4. Nature of the simulations
Everything inside a simulation is fictional. Senders, companies, numbers, addresses, links and amounts are invented or defused. A permanent "SIMULATION" marker is displayed.
A simulation never leaves the app: no link opens the internet, no call is placed, no message or e-mail is ever sent.
Sod never asks for a real secret. Sensitive fields in a simulation are pre-filled with fictional data; anything typed stays on the device and is never transmitted.
5. User commitments
Users agree not to:
- use Sod's content to design or carry out a real attack;
- attempt to access answers, grading internals or other people's accounts;
- disrupt the service (reverse engineering, abusive automation, unusual load);
- provide an inaccurate e-mail address or share their password.
Breaching these commitments may lead to suspension of the account.
6. Educational value, no guarantee of outcome
Sod is a training tool. The Vigilance Score measures performance observed in simulations; it is not a certification, a security guarantee or professional advice. The publisher cannot be held liable for a security incident suffered by a user.
7. Intellectual property
Scenarios, copy, interfaces and graphics are protected. Third-party brands, logos or names that may appear in simulations are used for educational illustration only; no partnership is implied.
8. Account and deletion
Users can export their data or delete their account at any time from Settings. Deletion is permanent and erases the associated personal data, as described in the privacy policy.
9. Changes
The publisher may change features, scenarios and these terms. Substantial changes are announced in the app. Continued use means acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, French courts have jurisdiction. Consumers may use a consumer mediator free of charge.
